BBC Case study

It was a challenging task to tell a story of change in one of India’s most populous states, to a range of people on multiple devices. Poor health facilities and services, and low awareness of simple, healthy behaviours made the statistics for maternal and child health poor.

The website captured every detail of the revolutionary 33 month critical mother-child health care initiative buy BBC Media Action.

Additionally it highlighted the unique approach to communicate their message of change. The creative use of a heritage style of illustration and infographics showcased the length and breadth of unique initiatives to a target audience that included international donors, media personnel, researchers, policy makers and the general public.
Extensive raw data was made interesting by humanizing it so that it was easy to understand the impact of project objectives.
